The Underside

The Underside is a rogue-lite, hack and slash, where you take the role of the last in line, bed monster-hunting family business. 

Hired by kids to eradicate the monsters living under their beds, venture to an imaginary plane where the monsters live.

 Unlock different weapons in the fight for a good night’s sleep. Different contracts lead to different scenarios with unique bosses and enemies.

Main Features

• Technical Combat
  • Fast-paced and based on 2 actions (melee and ranged weapon), the combat aims to be dynamic, giving the player interesting scenarios with rules on how you can defeat enemies. Customizations enhance the combat further, creating scenarios where the player's creativity shines.
• Customization
  • A variety of different character choices that change how the player approaches different scenarios and the core of the game. From permanent abilities to the dungeon rule creation from contracts the player decides what is happening and how he is playing.
• Overcoming
  • The core of a roguelike and the core of our narrative is based on overcoming adversity and everything in the game ties into this idea.
• Exploration
  • The mind and imagination of humankind are mysterious and diverse, exploring the dungeons brings out this mystery both in the narrative/world and visually. Explore procedurally generated dungeons in an order of your choosing, choose what type of monsters and loot you get within each run.
